The existence of Jimmy Powers Ministries is with the sole purpose of sowing the good news of Jesus Christ to people of every color and culture, literally changing the world one person at a time. Our goal is to teach the Word of God with simplicity and understanding so that it may be applied to our everyday lives in a practical and effective manner; thereby being transformed into the image of our creator here on earth, provoking people to change by our example. We are preparing families for harvest, spirit, soul and body.
· Carry the saving and healing message of Jesus Christ to every nation and islands of the earth.
· Proclaim the whole Gospel of Jesus Christ to every person on earth in our generation.
· Build up, train, and strengthen believers in every nation of the Local church.
· Conduct Schools of Ministries for the purpose of passing the anointing God has given to Dr. Jimmy Powers to others for the purpose of reaching their villages, cities and nations for Christ.
· Maximize technology, people and resources God has provided for the spreading of the Gospel.
· Operate, articulate and demonstrate to the world, the five-fold ministries of the Church as outlined in Ephesians 4:11 for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ
The Vision
Jimmy Powers Ministries is being extended throughout the world with church planting ministry. Over the years, Dr. Powers has established and maintained tremendous relationships with "his sons and daughters in the Gospel" and his preaching, teaching, training, and prophetic ministry is in great demand around the world. Dr. Jimmy Powers started the Apostolic Power Network to connect like ministries that are flowing in the word and the Spirit. We all share a vital role with Dr. and Mrs. Powers, in taking the message to the world that Jesus Christ is "The Resurrected Son of the Living God" and that His Resurrection power will meet each person at the point of his/her need. God has given Dr. Powers favor in Mexico where there are over 400 churches connected to the Apostolic Power Network. There are many ministries in the United States as well that are under this umbrella.
The vision is being accomplished through the ministry efforts of Jimmy Powers Ministries on a worldwide scale through the local church and by the use of television, campaigns, conventions, books, tapes, recordings and personal correspondence. The vision is multiplied through the financial support of other ministries of like purpose.

Jimmy PowersIt was at the age of 13 that Dr. Powers gave his life to Christ and felt in his heart that God had called him to the ministry; however, it was not until March 2001 that he finally yielded to the call of God to full-time ministry. Jimmy is not alone in the call to ministry. Working alongside him are his wife Pastor Angela and their four boys: Jimmy, Brandon, Caleb, and Joshua. Together they have founded Jimmy Powers Ministries. Since the start of Jimmy Powers Ministries in 2001, Dr. Jimmy Powers has been blessed to travel to many different nations teaching God’s Word of healing, salvation, deliverance and restoration.
Dr. Powers is also the Spiritual covering to several church’s and “field” ministers. God is looking for hearts that want to serve Him and the Powers family is ready to answer the call.
Angela PowersAngela Powers is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas and currently resides in the Dallas Metropolitan area. She is the daughter of Pastor Trinidad and Ruth Botello and served in ministry her entire life. She is the wife of Dr. Jimmy Powers, and is also a mother to four. She works along side her husband in full-time ministry and is committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ wherever the Lord may send her.
Angela is committed to helping others and this is evident through her lifestyle of service. She is called to the pastoral office and is the Pastor of House of Power Church. With her gift of teaching she also ministers in conferences and churches where she is invited.
